@ Careypeak23′m 25, almost 26, and have done my share of music research and I fully agree with you. All bands 80, sucked. AIC is a group of hair, for starters, and most children wouldn; not want to hear this, but its the truth. I am a big fan of Alice in Chains with Layne, when they started all the way until 96 when he stopped touring. I miss Kurt. It was his best generations. What my generation???? I just take the occasional decent music. But maily late 60′s-mid70, 80, 90,

Grunge lessofyou @ me just as bad as the metal hair. Bush, 7 Mary 3, Live, Creed, Mudpuddle. The end of each movement aspires. Nu metal stamped grunge, emo and nu metal to stopmped. There are no new grunge bands, not from Seether, which suck. hair metal of 78-83 is great, his last 6 years has sucked. Pearl Jam was originally a hair metal band, and so was Alice n chains, opening up Van Halen on their first tour. Grung company got real fast and everyone has copied just to get a signature
lessofyou @ If there are new grunge bands, I would love to hear them. Hair Metal is more alive today than in the past 22 years. Iron Maiden. Priest, Halen, Ozzy, Rush, Guns, Ratt, Kiss, are all back together and touring. The Darkness have been enormous in the period 2002-2007. Airborne Australia is impressive. Even Killswitch, Atreyu, and AV7 have a huge influence hair metal. Watch Velvet Revolver, Audio Slave, strongly influenced by the metal hair. It will never be the same, but it is still here in the sound.
@ BlissfulWishes if you think grunge is missing a metal guitarist? I think the only grunge band that has not been a lot of solo nirvana. They are a band. grunge had other guitarists really good if I’m not sure what you are listening.

I met Duff (briefly) to a musical event and it was very nice. Not all members of G & R are con-sole. . . .
artist can be brilliant geniuses, but lets face, some of them are cowards and confused, blowing his head to escape their “miserable” life. Go to a poor country and see if you have worse than

lessofyou @ I do not know about. Even the guys want to rap party like a rock star “and not as smooth college egocentric children. The bands now have a hard rock / heavy metal sound. N “Rock Never Stops” Tour Grungers! Grunge lasted about two years and never returned. In all reality, he was already on its way by 94. Cobain has seen the writing on the wall and he even bought the permanence and martyrdom by killing herself. In a weird way, the best thing he has done for his career to kill.
