Drug Education is very important to the younger generation, since they are the ones that can easily get addicted to drugs. It is good that Houston is having this, which I think is lacking here in my country. I agree with you that drug trafficking and rug addiction is very hard to fight and a community must be united in order to put a stop to it. That is why family members and friends should not disown somebody they know who is a drug addict, but instead help in his/her rehabilitation. Plus, they should also do their part in educating the younger generation about the dangers of drug addiction in order to at least lessen drug addiction.
