ahpollyolly March 30, 2010 at 10:22 am: In my experience AA works if you want, no matter who else is in the May meetings and how “tight”, they may or may not be. I found a “family” around the world at the meetings “good” and not so “good.” Fifth Tradition makes good reading. We do our many other members – but can not expect them to call us (me). Many AA – including me – believe that alcoholism is a disease that does best is tell you that you do not suffer from it. . It is a powerful disease. Stay safe. YIF.
